The two sister companies have long championed and nurtured exciting new talent, and Greenhouse is the culmination of that support. At The Greenhouse, we support and develop directors taking their first steps into the commercial world and beyond. It is a home for talented artists and directors benefiting from the world-class resources of both studios. If a job is awarded for a director while with Greenhouse, it is produced by either Passion or Strange Beast, depending on the director’s flavour. Once the director has a couple of successful projects under their belt, they are ready to graduate onto one of the main rosters. Some of our successful graduates are Mads Broni and Laura Jayne Hodkin.

The ethos of Greenhouse is to nurture and grow new directors - we see ourselves both as a stepping stone and a showcase for new talent. We support emerging talent through funding graduate films, internships and portfolio reviews. We also offer an accessible entry point for new graduates in more informal settings where we offer information on entry-level jobs and ways of starting out. We aim to be as accessible and approachable as possible.
